In the days before Laneway and Secondary Suites were allowed as of right, we undertook a bold proposal to allow a long time creative couple to age in place on their oversized lot in Toronto's Roncesvalles neighborhood. The City rejected the proposed secondary suite and this project was never realized.
I was the project designer and manager for this project. I was responsible for all aspects of design and City approvals (or lack there of) and client coordination.
