My position involved acting as onsite site supervisor/ manager of the construction at the Athletics Competition/ Training, Tennis, and ParaPan Opening Ceremonies venues located at York University, including the construction of 2 Mondotrack Ovals, Overlay Temporary Commodities and Sport Equipment. I was responsible for all interactions with the venue owners, suppliers and contractors as well as coordinating and scheduling with internal TO2015 user groups.
Prior to Games Time this position centred on the design and planning of venues for Canoe/Kayak Slalom, all Equestrian events, Athletics, all Shooting events, Mountain Biking, and Tennis, including the management of a staff of 8 and the coordination of all consultants and scheduling. Close work was required with many stakeholders to ensure high level event spaces were available for athletes, spectators and staff.
